Patrol Officer


The primary duty of a Rifle Police Officer is to promote the peace, safety and the well-being of the Rifle Community through interaction, education and enforcement of the law. Responds to calls for service and takes appropriate action to resolve the issue. Other duties as assigned.

Recreation Coordinator - Athletics

Designs, coordinates and organizes the activities and personnel of a specialized recreation program. Assists Parks & Recreation Director and Assistant Director in obtaining funds through fundraisers and grants. Promotes the Rifle Recreation Programs.

Experience and Training:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management or related field
Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver's License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must be able to pass a background check with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
Job Certifications: First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Work Experience: Two years related experience in the field of recreation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Administration - Executive Assistant

Provides a high level of administrative support to the City Manager. Will conduct a wide range of administrative duties in the general business office management and administrative support needs. Requires exemplary customer service skills, solid understanding of confidentiality, proficiency in organizational skills, development and maintenance of office systems.
