Rifle's Parks & Recreation department has the privilege of providing a diverse number of recreational programs to Rifle residents and maintaining its many first-class city parks and facilities for the enjoyment of the public.
The City of Rifle has designated an area at Deerfield Park for this year's Christmas tree drop-off location. The address of this location is 300 East 30th Street. It is located across the street from Wamsley Elementary School north of the Veterans Memorial. All decorations and hardware must be removed and we will accept trees through January 31st, 2021.”

Centennial Park has been the recipient of three prestigious awards:

2011 Downtown Colorado Inc. Award for Best Downtown Park
This park has been the venue for multiple new events in Rifle, including the very successful annual Centennial Concert Series, Fall Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as well as many other private entity events.
Centennial Park amenities include 2 picnic shelters, a children's water play area, an amphitheater, a decorative Rifle-history-themed central plaza and waysides, Rifle Creek Trail, and a large open turf are (The Great Bowl) and many areas to simply sit and enjoy the surroundings.
