The Rifle Police Department is a community based law enforcement agency. The Rifle Police Department is comprised of 20 sworn and 6 non-sworn employees led by Chief Tommy Klein. These men and women have dedicated themselves to the department and their community. They protect an ever growing population, which is now projected at more than (9,500).

  • Our staffed front desk hours are Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 5PM
  • Police Officers are available at any time and are staffed around the clock.
  • Please use the blue emergency phone in front of the building, or dial 970-625-8095 if you need a police officer.
