The downtown Rifle area is governed by a 2 hour parking limit in designated areas. Rifle Police Department employs one civilian Parking Enforcement Officer. They are assigned to the duties of parking enforcement for the downtown area.

There is a 2 hour on-street parking limit for the following locations:

• 100 block of E. 3 Street
• 100 block of W. 3 Street
• 100 block of E. 4 Street
• 100 block of W. 5 Street
• 200 - 300 block of Railroad Avenue
• 200 - 300 block of East Avenue
• 400 block of West Ave, on west side
• 100 block of East 5th Street, south side
