To calculate fees charged for building permit, plumbing or mechanical, use the forms below. To calculate use tax, multiply one half the valuation of the building by 3.5%. We currently use the valuation data published by the International Code Council. You may obtain this table at
The International Code Council Website.   The plan review fees are 65% of the building permit fee.

Please be aware that your valuations and calculations may differ from ours. This page is only a guide to help with cost estimates.

DO NOT SEND US A CHECK, OR MAKE ANY CHECK PAYABLE TO THE CITY FOR BUILDING PERMIT FEES. We will contact you after our plan review is complete and give you the amounts due.

A non refundable $500.00 deposit is required for all new construction at time of application. The deposit will be applied to plan review fees at time of permit issuance.
